Four Aces Club, Dalston poster.
An original travel poster featuring legendary East London venue The Four Aces Club in Dalston.
In the 60s and 70s, Hackney's Four Aces Club was one of the first UK venues to play black music, playing a significant role in the evolution of reggae into dance music, with ska, rocksteady, dub, dancehall and the evolution of jungle. Over the years, clientele included stars such as Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder and Jimmy Cliff.
The 90s marked the beginning of a new era for the Four Aces Club when it became the host of Club Labrynth, an indoor rave night featuring acid house and hardcore. The Prodigy played their first ever show at Club Labrynth.
This print is part of a series of designs celebrating some of the UK's best music venues and theatres.
Each piece is printed on high quality premium heavy weight matte paper and will arrive in either a protective tube, hard backed card envelope or carefully boxed if ordered framed.
